This is an example page. They are different from blog posts because they are kept in one place and will appear in your site navigation (in most cases, in your theme). Most people start with an introduction page that introduces themselves to potential site visitors. We can say this:
Hello! By day I’m a bike messenger, by night I’m an aspiring actor, and this is my website. I live in Los Angeles, have a great dog named Jack, and love pina coladas. (And walking in the rain too.)
…or something like this:
XYZ Doohickey Company was founded in 1971 and has been providing quality Doohickey to the public. Located in Gotham City, XYZ employs over 2,000 people and does all kinds of cool things for the Gotham community.
If you are a new WordPress user, go to your dashboard, delete this page, and create new pages for your content. Have a nice time!
